The SENAI CIMATEC Library has a structure with an area of 1,500 m² with 13 group study rooms, an individual reading room with 245 reading stations. The space has more than 50 thousand titles to support teaching, research and extension activities for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, in the areas of competence of SENAI CIMATEC, in addition to providing a space for access to the Foundation's periodical portal Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – CAPES.

Collection

Bibliographic Commutation In order to facilitate access for research, teaching and extension tasks, the University Center has an agreement with a service to provide copies of technical documents for the National Commutation Program (COMUT). A way of having complete texts at your fingertips (publishers, booksellers, full-text databases, etc.), under the coordination of a decentralized bibliographic switching system. In this way, we also contribute to the improvement of teaching and research.

Normalization SENAI CIMATEC is based on working on the responsibilities of a library and guiding its users on the quality standard, regarding the use of current standards for presenting academic works - theses, dissertations, course conclusion works and other similar works, aiming to presentation to the educational institution (boards, teacher examination committees, designated specialists and/or others), in accordance with the Documentation standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT).
