University Extension is the process that articulates teaching and research in an inseparable way and enables the transformative relationship between university and society. It comprises educational actions (awareness raising, training, dissemination of information, technology and culture), as well as the provision of services (consultancy, laboratory services, among others).

University Extension at SENAI CIMATEC is structured around three pillars:

Student Promotion and Support, including scholarship and aid grant programs, promotion of student initiatives and student welcoming actions;

Educational Extension Courses and Programs, comprising free course programs and undergraduate curricular extension;

Integration between the CIMATEC Ecosystem and society through extension projects aimed at cooperation with the community.
